Book release ‘Rotterdam in 2040’

I'm doing a little production for this event and I'm also proud to
tell that I wrote a piece for this book!

You’re invited to the book release of ‘Rotterdam in 2040’ by Gyz La
Riviere. The first copy of the book will be received by Jules Deelder.
Master of ceremony is Jeroen S. Rozendaal. Pieter Vos, Rien
Vroegindeweij and Rufus Ketting will be the speakers that evening.

Rotterdam 2040, a book where Gyz La Riviere philosophizes about the
future of Rotterdam. Gyz La Riviere does so through the good and bad
things from the particular history of his favorite city. He outlined a
possible future where all residents have something, young and old,
rich and poor, boring or adventurous, interested or bored.

Textual contributions coming from: De Bubbelebim, Daan Hakkenberg,
Elseline Hokke, Erik Brus, Fred de Vries, Geert Mul, Gilbert Curtessi,
Hajo Doorn, Hans Walgenbach & Siebe Thissen, Jack Wouterse, Jan

Laurens Abbink Spaink, Ari Versluis, Pieter Vos, Ramsey Nasr, Rien
Vroegindeweij, Sander F. van Hest en Suzanne Allewelt en beeldende

WOR illu #2 — Rob Kemerink

We’re proud to present our new We Own Rotterdam illustration. This
time it was created by Rob Kemerink who’s work you might know from the
pages of the UITagenda. This illustration will grace our pages for the
coming weeks.

A big thank you to Rob for creating this great interpretation of what
WOR stands for.

WOR illu #1 — Eva Lindeman

New WOR logo / illustration by Eva Lindeman! Check her portfolio
website at http://evalindeman.com/. Eva’s illustration is inspired by
nautical signaling flags.

This was the first in a series. We’ll try to have a new illustration
by a talented Rotterdammer every two months or so on
http://weownrotterdam.nl.

OGD | Bits in pieces

Last summer I was working most of my time for OGD, an ICT company, in the old ice skating hall near Rotterdam Central Station.
Together with Joeri Pruys and Jowan de Haan we created this short film for them.
It was a very nice project with a lot of creativity, fun and hard work.
My job during this project was producer (together with Joeri) and first assistant. I also did a little make-up and styling.
Enjoy!
